Van Markus Autoschade is a high-tech bodyshop with branches in Zeist and in De Bilt. The company was founded in 1968 and is a member of the ABS Autoherstel chain. It is also engaged in glass repair and has an interior and furniture spray shop.
The need
Van Markus Autoschade had already digitized its administrative process from scratch some time ago. Only the purchase invoice processing was still on paper. Therefore, the company started looking for a partner who could help with digitizing this process.

Since Van Markus Autoschade has been working with Whitevision, the financial administration has more time for other work: “Previously, we had to schedule specific days to pick up accounts receivable management or other special tasks. We simply didn’t get around to that, because we had to code and check a whole stack of purchase invoices. With Whitevision, the input work is gone. We only have to check that the OCR software has properly recognized the invoice data. Then the system automatically transfers the invoices to colleagues, who can approve the document in a timely manner.” Van Markus Autoschade employees find Whitevision a very user-friendly system: “You can see the status of an invoice at any time. Whitevision has a template that allows you to send suppliers an email with one click when they have not prepared or delivered the invoice correctly. Very handy!”
At the start of the partnership, Whitevision had yet to establish the link with Dw pro. Rolph was confident that it would succeed. “That was because of the approach,” he explains. “Whitevision did not send salespeople, but experts who thought with us. They sat down with us and immersed themselves in our processes and challenges. In addition, Whitevision worked closely with Solera to get the linkage right.” Fatima emphasizes that a seamless link was crucial for Van Markus Autoschade: “We wanted switching from one program to another to feel like turning a page in a book. There had to be no more copying, mailing or printing. We set high standards for Whitevision. These sometimes required some adjustments. But Whitevision made everything possible for us!”
Whether Van Markus Autoschade would like to continue working with Whitevision? “Absolutely,” says Rolph. “We like to enter into long-term collaborations with business partners. That’s why we did extensive preliminary research. We talked to several OCR vendors, but only one could really help us: Whitevision. That’s worth so much. I would say: don’t see Whitevision as a cost, but as an investment. It pays for itself more than once. Once you use the solution, you don’t want to be without it!”
