Acquisition of Factuurportal by Whitevision

Whitevision announces the acquisition of Factuurportal, a leading provider of Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) software. With this acquisition, Whitevision strengthens its IDP product offering and market position within the Benelux, and lays a solid foundation for further international growth. The transaction marks the second step in Whitevision’s Buy-and-Build strategy since its partnership with Main Capital Partners in August 2024.

Factuurportal, founded in 2018 and based in Rotterdam, develops and delivers AI-driven software solutions that streamline document processing by automatically recognizing and converting different types of documents. Factuurportal’s product suite consists of tools for data recognition, validation and conversion. These allow users to automatically retrieve data from documents, check it against legal and customer-specific criteria, and convert it to a format that integrates with existing administrative systems. Factuurportal serves customers in various sectors, but has a strong position within government, healthcare and retail. Customers are mainly located in the Benelux; well-known examples include BMN, Staedion and Port of Amsterdam.

Factuurportal and Whitevision operate in the fast-growing Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) software market, which is driven by trends such as increasing digitization and process automation. These trends are expected to further grow the global market. The IDP market is still relatively fragmented, with a few major players driving consolidation. The combination of Factuurportal and Whitevision represents a strategic step in Whitevision’s positioning as a consolidator in the industry, while enriching its product portfolio.
