The Zellingen focuses on people who need support, guidance, care or nursing for a short or long period of time. The organization wants to help them maintain their independence for as long as possible. Ideally, it wants people to stay at home – in their own environment. If that is not possible, De Zellingen wants them to be in a care environment where they feel at home and safe. Nearly 1,300 employees and 500 volunteers provide this care in all districts of Capelle, Krimpen and Nieuwerkerk aan den IJssel. From various locations and through home care. De Zellingen also provides such care in cooperation with various healthcare professionals, research institutes and social organizations.
